Back to Reality

Well, our first family vacation is over and I am sad :(. We had so much fun and it was much needed for us. OUr trip started Sat. July 10 at 3 am. We drove to Fayetteville, Ark for the first day and spent the night. Braxton did amazing and was such a trooper!!! Kevin wore this hat the whole time.

On Sunday, we woke up and spent the day in Fayetteville. We toured the campus of the University of Arkansas. I got to see where Chi Omega got started!!!!

We checked into our cabin on Sunday afternoon and spent the whole week on the water.

Braxton mastered his crawling skills while we were on our trip. I gotta baby proof the house now!!!! We had a blast, swimming, sun bathing, fishing, riding on boats, skiing, tubing, etc. Braxton also made a friend on the trip and loved having someone to play with. We meet up with 4 other families. We have all known each other for years!!!! Braxton also tried his first watermelon and sno cone (sugar free) on this trip and enjoyed both!!!

We came home Sunday,July 18. We didnt leave as early this time. Braxton did good on the way home but it was a little harder not splitting up the drive. It will be awhile before I make a 13 hr drive with an infant! LOL!
